It’s happening again. You are sitting in front of a blank screen, blank piece of paper or blank canvas wondering what to write, what to draw, what to paint.
You are stuck in a creative slump. All out of creative brain juice.
The good news is that finding creativity is actually easier and so much more fun than you might imagine (Just ask the chihuahua in pink).
Here are 10 SIMPLE THINGS you can do to keep the creative juices flowing.

So Bobo decided to be original this year. No not really. He always wears the same costume for Halloween.
He gets a lot of candy, but ends up giving it to me. After all, he really just wants ONE THING.
So, rather than reinvent the wheel, I’m going to send you over to one of my favorite photographer’s blog, Chase Jarvis.
He spent some time shooting with the new Nikon D7000 and shows the rest of us exactly what you can expect from this type of camera.

This is an excellent demonstration showing that you can produce great photos with a basic camera.
Having a $3,000 camera is nice, but not vital to producing vibrant and creative photos.
Lesson: Whatever camera you have, get out there and start photographing the world around you.
There are 3 things I find inspiring about this video:
1.) It is a return to “old school” special FX, which is a breath of fresh air in a heavily computer-FX-dependant society.
2.) It combines physics/imagination/mathematics/engineering/design/music and overall fun into a 4 minute video.
3.) It took over 60 takes to get it right + A LOT of trial and error.
Success isn’t something that happens in 1 shot.
You have to work at it.

You can spend large amounts of money on advertising to give your company an image of professionalism and quality service.
However, all of that goes out the window when someone in your company does something like THIS to give potential clients a different image about what you can offer.
Lesson of the day:
Make sure that staff share the same company values as you do.
Professionalism is not a value that only applies between business hours. It’s a lifestyle.
